Funeral services for Martie Burin Christian, 86, of Frisco, who died Sunday in a McKinney hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Harrington-Bratcher-Dickey Chapel in Frisco with Rev. Steve Fowler and Bro. Jim Pyburn officiating. Interment will be in Cottage Hill Cemetery with Harrington-Bratcher-Dickey Funeral Home of Frisco in charge of the services.
Christian was born April 18, 1900 in Tennessee, the son of the late Grant Christian and Betty Fouch Christian, and married Sybil Gray Morgan, Oct. 14, 1922 in Collin County.
He was in the construction business.
Survivors include his wife, Sybil Christian of Frisco; sister Linda Lankford of Oklahoma; as well as a number of other relatives.
The family will be at the funeral home for 7 to 8 tonight.
