Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie Holmes, 73, of Blue Ridge who died Saturday in a Sherman hospital were held at 10 a.m. Monday in Crossroads Presbyterian Church with Reverend Malcolm Cave, Baptist minister of Nobility officiating.
Interment was in Crossroads Cemetery with Earnheart Funeral Home in charge.
She was born October 22, 1911 in Winnsboro, TX, the daughter of the late James and Mary Bailey and married Clemmie Holmes, July 19, 1945 at Durant, OK.
She was a member of Nobility Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband Clemmie Holmes of Blue Ridge; two daughters Mrs. Mary Young of Greenville and Mrs. Lorene Rule of Desert; two sisters Mrs. Etta Brock and Mrs. Elizabeth Netherland both of Ft. Worth; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Donald Harry, Ricky Rule, Billy Theis, Henry Morgan, Doug Brummett and Larry Martin.
